The serials section provides information services for an outstanding collection of periodicals/newspapers with the amount of approximately 2000 titles which cover many disciplines and emphasize on science , technology, engineering, business, architecture, design, and humanities.

1. Periodicals

Current periodicals of Western languages are shelved in alphabetical order, while Chinese and Japanese periodicals are shelved by the number of strokes of title.
All current issues of the periodicals are kept in the Periodicals Reading Section on the 2nd floor .
Back issues of the periodicals are shelved by Call Number on the 5th floor and they contain more than 4000 titles..
Back issues of the periodicals in microform formats are kept in the Audio Visual Room on the 4th floor.

2. Highly demanded periodicals
  Highly demanded periodicals of language learning, law and computer are kept at the periodicals desk and can be borrowed on request.
3. Newspapers
  Newspapers in domestic and foreign languages within 3 months are kept in the Periodicals Reading Section
4. Indexes and abstracts.
Services available at Periodicals Information Desk
  The periodicals desk provides the following services: reference assistance on periodicals and newspapers special services for the faculty who are allowed to borrow current periodicals for 24 hours
 Request for Periodicals
  Each Dept. has the authority to make the decision on which academic periodicals to subscribe. Upon receiving the recommended list from the Dept., the Library will take budget into an account and transfer the request to the Library Advisory Committee to make the final decision.
